Duy Nguyen

Duy Nguyen serves as the Head of Investment Solutions for CAIS Advisors and Senior Portfolio Manager. With over 30 years of investment experience, Duy serves as a portfolio manager and is on the CAIS Advisors Investment Committee.

Prior to joining CAIS, Duy Nguyen was a founding partner and Chief Investment Officer (CIO) for Bear Claw Ventures, a firm focused on direct venture investments. Before Bear Claw, Duy was the CIO and Senior Portfolio Manager for the Invesco Investment Solutions team, which provides customized, public, and private, multi-asset investment strategies for institutional and retail clients. Duy and team managed over $90 billion in assets with over half in retail products. In this role, Duy was responsible for the strategy and direction of the team’s investment process, including overseeing the quality of all portfolio implementation and communicating the investment process to internal and external teams. Prior to joining the firm in 2000, he served as a senior quantitative equity analyst for Morgan Stanley, as well as vice president and director of quantitative services of FactSet Research Systems, Inc.

Mr. Nguyen earned a BBA degree from the University of Texas at Austin, an MS in applied economics from Johns Hopkins University, and an MS in finance from the University of Houston. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst® (CFA) charter holder and Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst® (CAIA) professional
