Privacy Policy
CAIS Advisors LLC (“CAIS Advisors”, the “Adviser”) has developed a Privacy Notice, as required by Regulation S-P. Regulation S-P limits the circumstances under which an investment adviser may disclose nonpublic personal information about an investor to other persons and requires an investment adviser to disclose its privacy policy to its investors. The following is a summary of the principal requirements:
Individuals that are customers of a regulated financial institution or that invest in a private fund must receive a clear and conspicuous notice that details the financial institution’s privacy policies and practices.
If a financial institution intends to disclose private information to a non-affiliated third-party, then the customer must be given (except as required by law, regulatory agencies, or other third parties) the right to opt-out (“opt-out rights”), and the financial institution must comply with any opt-out request when sharing information.
Financial institutions are required to adopt policies and procedures reasonably designed to ensure the security, confidentiality, and integrity of customer records and protect them against anticipated hazards and unauthorized access.
Initial Privacy Notice Delivery
All new customers will receive an Initial Privacy Notice at the time a customer relationship is established (i.e., no later than when the Adviser begins to provide services to the customer).
Annual Privacy Notice
Regulation S-P requires that disclosure of the Privacy Notice be made to customers on an annual basis (i.e., at least once in any period of 12 consecutive months during which the relationship exists), unless the Adviser is excepted from such annual delivery obligation (including, for example, and without limitation, by Section 503(f) of GLBA and/or the exceptions provided in Reg S-P). Thus, a financial institution would only be required to provide an Annual Notice if it changes its privacy policies or discloses nonpublic personal information to non-affiliated third parties in a manner that triggers an opt-out right.
As required by Regulation S-P, CAIS Advisors has adopted policies and procedures that address administrative, technical, and physical safeguards for the protection of investor records and information. These policies and procedures are reasonably designed to:
ensure the security and confidentiality of investor records and information;
protect against any anticipated threats or hazards to the security or integrity of investor records and information; and
protect against unauthorized access to or use of investor records or information that could result in substantial harm or inconvenience to any Investor.
Information CAIS Advisors collects and shares
CAIS Advisors does not disclose nonpublic personal information about investors or former investors to third parties except as described below.
In the normal course of serving investors and effecting transactions, CAIS Advisors may share personal information with companies that perform services on the Adviser’s funds behalf, such as accountants, auditors, and attorneys; and, as permitted or required by law, regulatory agencies or other third parties. These parties are to use the information only for the services required of them and as allowed by applicable law or regulation and are not to share or use it for any other purpose.
CAIS Advisors reserves the right to change its privacy policy at any time.

Cookies and other Tracking Technologies
When you visit some websites, their web servers generate pieces of information known as cookies, which helps webmasters understand how users interact with their Site’s content and services. We use cookies and other tracking technologies to track your activities on our websites (e.g., pages visited, links clicked on, etc.), and to record information about the user so when the user returns to the site, customized features can be provided, as well as for advertising purposes.
We use two types of cookies. A session cookie is a line of text that is stored temporarily in your web browser’s memory cache and will expire when the browser is closed. A session cookie is not placed on any hard drive, and it is destroyed as soon as you close your browser. We may use session cookies to facilitate certain site functionality and features. A persistent cookie is saved to a file on your hard drive and is accessed whenever you re-visit the website that put it there. This lets that website remember what you were interested in the last time you visited. We use persistent cookies to enable analytics (e.g., Google Analytics) to differentiate between new and returning Site visitors. Persistent cookies remain on your computer between visits to the Site until they expire.
CAIS Advisors may utilize third party services to enhance its distribution of data and information (e.g., videos) through links from the Site. A persistent cookie may be set by such a third-party provider when you click on the provider’s link in order to access CAIS Advisors data (e.g., play a video).
By default, persistent cookies and web measurement technologies are automatically used when you visit the Site. We may allow third party ad serving companies or ad networks to display third party advertisements on the Site. Some of these companies may place a persistent cookie in order to recognize your computer each time they send you an online advertisement. Thus, these companies may compile information about where you are using your computer, where you saw their advertisements, and which ads you clicked on. This information allows these companies to deliver targeted advertisements that they believe will be of most interest to you. We do not have access to the cookies that may be placed by these companies. If you are interested in learning more about and/or opting out of online advertising, we encourage you to visit one of the advertising industry-developed opt-out pages, such as www.youradchoices.com or aboutads.info. Please note that our site does not respond to browser “Do Not Track” signals.
